Goldenrod

TIFF 2026

There's more money in your film than you think.

Goldenrod finds every incentive dollar an independent production qualifies for — then tracks the compliance and files the submission so you actually collect it. A team that has done it, on a platform that shows every qualified dollar from first budget to payout.

Keep the card. The link on it stays live long after the festival.

AS OF TIFF

Open in Texas, Louisiana and Kentucky. Private beta everywhere else.

The full engagement — optimise, comply, submit — is live today for productions shooting in Texas, Louisiana or Kentucky. Shooting somewhere else? For an active project we stand up a new jurisdiction in roughly 3–4 weeks, and the first private-beta slots go to the projects that ask first.

GET A NUMBER

Your budget, your state, one estimate.

Three inputs and you get a first-pass range: the program's base rate up to its ceiling with every uplift, after caps and — for credits you'd have to sell — a typical broker discount. It's an estimate, not a quote. The real number depends on eligibility and documentation, which is the part we do.

FOR CARD HOLDERS

The TIFF founders' circle.

Six hundred cards exist. Put your project in above — any stage, any state — and it's in the circle:

  • Priority onboarding: your project jumps the queue, in our open states or the private beta.
  • A free incentive map for your next project — which jurisdictions, what each is worth against your budget, and the deadlines.
  • Founding-member pricing on your first engagement, locked for twelve months from TIFF.

Applies to projects submitted from this page by December 31, 2026.

HOW IT WORKS

Three phases. One team.

We optimise the plan before the shoot, keep the production compliant in real time while it shoots, and package the submittal so the film commission's review is as easy — and as fast — as possible.

  1. IBefore the shoot

    Phase I: Optimize

Before a shoot begins, we're consulting on how to maximize the available incentives, which may require changing locations, schedules or other elements to fully maximize those opportunities. There are many opportunities to consider, and we're here to help find what best serves your story.

  2. IIDuring production

    Phase II: Comply

During production, we're taking all the relevant data into our platform, making sure the filmmakers are staying ahead of issues and staying compliant in real time. We provide continuing guidance with a human touch to ensure the project is recouping as much of their potential incentive money as possible. It takes a team, and we're on yours.

  3. IIIAfter delivery

    Phase III: Submit

Because we're on top of compliance throughout, we can turn around submission to the film commission quickly once the project is delivered. We then provide support through a jurisdiction's audit process. The goal of our submittal phase is to organize your submission in a way that makes the film commission's review as easy as possible, so the filmmaker gets their money back as quickly as possible.
