What Andorra actually pays
No statewide film incentive. City or county programs may still apply.
How to apply
Apply through the Government of Andorra e-tramits portal during the annual call (the 2026 call ran from 7 May to 8 June 2026). An advisory committee chaired by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports assesses applications competitively. 75% is paid on award and 25% after the final activity and cost reports are approved.
The rule to remember
Andorran individuals or companies apply, and they must be registered in the Censart artists' census. At least 35% of the production budget must be secured at filing, the application must be in Catalan, the finished work needs Catalan dubbing or subtitles, and a public preview must be held in Andorra.
Common questions
- Does Andorra have a film tax incentive?
- Andorra has no statewide film incentive as of our last review on 2026-09-30. City or county programs may still apply, and neighboring states often do offer programs worth structuring around.
Verify before you budget. These figures come from our own incentives database and each shows when it was last reviewed — but programs change between funding cycles and legislative sessions. Confirm with the film office, or ask us, before a number goes into a budget.
Compare with
Programs in a similar rate band. The mechanism matters as much as the percentage — a transferable credit at 30% is not the same money as a cash grant at 30%.
