What British Virgin Islands actually pays
No statewide film incentive. City or county programs may still apply.
How to apply
Send the BVI Film Commission a request letter with a company biography and project description plus the online film permit application at least 21 days before production. Each crew member needs a temporary work permit and an entry permit.
The rule to remember
The British Virgin Islands have no production rebate or tax credit. The BVI Film Commission waives film permit and drone permit fees, charges no fee for equipment importation, can process a permit in one day, and assists with work permits; a copy of the finished work is required instead of a permit fee.
