Martinique film tax incentive

Martinique Territorial Fund for Film and Audiovisual Creation and Production

What Martinique actually pays

No statewide film incentive. City or county programs may still apply.

How to apply

Request the regulation and application forms from the Collectivite Territoriale de Martinique cinema committee (comitecinema.ctm@collectivitedemartinique.mq) and file before principal photography. Feature applications must show a committed financial partner such as the CNC, a distributor, a broadcaster or a SOFICA. The reading committee gives an opinion and the Executive Council decides; the grant is paid in installments tied to the start of shooting and certified final accounts.

The rule to remember

A selective grant decided project by project, not a percentage rebate: the applicant must be a production company established in France, the EU or the EEA with a permanent establishment in France when the grant is paid, and must file before shooting starts.

Common questions

Does Martinique have a film tax incentive?
Martinique has no statewide film incentive as of our last review on 2026-09-30. City or county programs may still apply, and neighboring states often do offer programs worth structuring around.

Verify before you budget. These figures come from our own incentives database and each shows when it was last reviewed — but programs change between funding cycles and legislative sessions. Confirm with the film office, or ask us, before a number goes into a budget.

Compare with

Programs in a similar rate band. The mechanism matters as much as the percentage — a transferable credit at 30% is not the same money as a cash grant at 30%.
