What The Bahamas actually pays
No statewide film incentive. City or county programs may still apply.
How to apply
Submit a film permit request to the Bahamas Film and Television Commission at least 5 to 7 working days before arrival, with an equipment list, crew details, a letter of intent and travel dates. Drone filming needs a separate Civil Aviation Authority permit.
The rule to remember
No rebate, tax credit or production-specific tax concession is in force. The Bahamas Film and Television Commission issues film permits at no charge and coordinates locations, talent searches and customs clearance; customs charges a processing fee of 1% of the value of imported equipment.

Programs in a similar rate band. The mechanism matters as much as the percentage — a transferable credit at 30% is not the same money as a cash grant at 30%.
